You guys see a chance for Johnathan Campbell to make it to the national side in future? He has been doing fairly well and I think he is still very young. Good all round cricketer.

Maybe he will be in the future plans of ZC that's why he stayed in Zimbabwe, even if he got a club contract in England?

Pretty sure he works for his Dad's blueberry business. So no need to go overseas.
He's about 25 I think. He's a decent cricketer with bat and ball but I don't think he's done much so far that indicates he is international quality.

Jon Campbell is very very average. Nowhere near international standard, despite him believing to be, which isn’t a bad thing! But sadly he lacks the talent.

Fair play to him, he was never going play for Zimbabwe again so I don’t blame him.

None of them have played a club game for well over a year.
Frustrating considering the national team contracts stipulate making yourself available for designated club-level tournaments.

Has he actually ever played for Ireland though? He seems to be doing okay in the domestic setup but i do not think he has ever played for their national team at all
the higher you go the cooler it becomes

Nobody thought he was completely useless.
But equally nobody desperately wants him back. He was very good once upon a time, but then declined hugely and become pretty average. He's probably going to be in Ireland's squad for the world cup, but I don't think anyone in Zim is devastated about it.
