Opening post

We gave the Australians a bit of a scare in the first 25 overs of the first one day game which I watched in person in Townsville.

The second game was very one sided, we were put in our place and there was no where to run or hide.

Finally the last tour game is here can we catch them off their game or does the pain continue.

Good luck Fellas. I will post photos as soon as I figure out how to do it.

Sorry for frightening everyone above 😂

Meanwhile Reggie has finally won a toss and we are bowling first. Kaitano in for Kaia. Not sure I agree with that. Kaia has struggled but I doubt Kaitano can fare any better. Let's see.

Finally we get a see our bowlers.

Praying for a competitive game.
Nyauchi is military medium average speed 117km to 122km

Everyone used to give Tiripano s**t about his pace but his a good 5 km quicker then vic

Really poor shot from Tony Munyonga. He will get sweats reliving that

And s**t shot from Burl. Just needed to see that over off.

Needs to bat up the order. If we say it often enuf maybe they will give him a shot at 3 or 4

Great thing is the depth. Even without a renowned bowling coach, we have Muzarabani, Ngarava, Nyauchi, Chatara and Evans. Jongwe being 6th choice is not bad at all

True, Nyauchi bowls well when the conditions are good for swing, he has been impressive.

Batting remains a problem, Marumani has shown some potential for sure, if he can put up resistance on such difficult wickets against a top quality bowling attack, then surely he will do better in easier circumstances. Still need some young batters to step up. The Junior Welch can be looked upon as a future prospect and perhaps Myers will come back... But overall I'm very much worried for the batting once Raza, Willo, Regis and Ervine retire.

Arent we all :?

Ha.. Ha... Yeah mate!

So there is a month rest before a couple of WC warm ups and then the WC itself.

I think there is Afghanistan in Dec and Ireland in Jan as per the latest FTP.

West Indies are coming in the new year.

Houghton mentioned a Pakistan "A" team may be touring for a few games before the T20 World Cup.

Yeah as per the FTP we have;

December: Afghanistan - 1 Test (unlikely), 3 ODIs, 3 T20Is

Jan 2023: Ireland - 3 ODIs, 3 T20Is

Feb 2023: Windies - 2 Tests

all at home.

Pakistan were supposed to come for an 'A' Series last January but 'delayed' due to omicron. Sounds like they are still coming, which is good.

Zimbabwe can win all 3 tbh if luck goes their way. That windies series will be very good

Haven’t posted on here all day because I’m still in shock.

What a game of cricket. Fantastic performance with the ball. My man Nyauchi had a great opening spell. Great performance with the ball from Burl, he did to the Aussies what has happened to us recently against part timers.

Our batting wasn’t great but I can imagine the nerves going through the players chasing that total. Chakabva played a true captains knock, I almost don’t want Ervine to come back in and takeover.

I’m actually confident going into a cricket match now that we can win, it’s a great feeling. Looking forward to the next series :D

Marumani surely needs to bat at the top when we go to Oz for the 20 20 world cup

Slightly unfair on Ervine but he is a dynamic batsman and innovative
