Not much talk on here regarding this guy , he's done extremely well in 2 matches so far. Surely has to come into calculations if he qualifies to play for the zims.
So he can get discounted kebabs and cab rides from his
Teammates kiosk and Ubers?
County?
No one’s going to give him a coveted overseas spot.
IPL?
Negro please.
Pakistan?
Then he has to actually live in Pakistan. And competition for spots is tighter than Thai teen p***y there too.
Nepalese (or similar) T20 league?
He doesn’t appear to be a T20 player from what I can glean, and even if he was… is that really a better option than ZC? To me that
Is like a small pocket money gig between real cricket. Nor would he have to choose.
Fact is, if cricket is his thing, given he already has an established relationship and presumably a commitment in him from ZC, we are his best option unless he really backs himself to make it back home in Australia.
Zimbabwe has the easiest pathway to test cricket on the planet.
Sign up for club, crack Logan cup, crack international.
Zimbabweans don’t realise how good they have it in terms of platform in that sense.
Waht Raza did here he would never have been able to do elsewhere.
The BBC never cover anything Zim related, sports or otherwise unless it’s something major like when Ballance switched or Streak passed, or to stick the boot in.
That he’s been given a lengthy article by the establishment mouth piece says something 😂 Counties? ECB? Someone’s got the feelers out on him.
How it really works is you contact the BBC reporter, wire him some money and ask him to print a favorable article. Reporters are corrupt the world over.
Has anyone had a higher first-class batting average after eight matches than the Belgian-born Zimbabwean Antum Naqvi? asked Nick Gordon from England
An undefeated triple-century in his eighth match, for MidWest Rhinos against Matabeleland Tuskers in Harare earlier this month, meant that Antum Naqvi - who was indeed born in Brussels - had a first-class average of 102.14 after eight matches (715 runs, nine innings, two not-outs).
Playing for Stokesley at home to Stockton today in the old North Yorkshire & South Durham league haha.
Will find it hard going in the freezing cold and the only pies being served those in the clubhouse. Which he won’t go in because Michael Vaughan says chaps like Naqvi never do 😂
Oh heard another good one yesterday. Uprisings prize money for the NPL...surprisingly handed over, a couple of players got a token amount for contributing to their performances, guys who'd make noise if they got nothing, but that's all, most went empty handed. They're supposedly building a club in Chitungwiza. Can a sports journalist go and check on the progress to see where the other 14k went? If they have a proper constitution and if perhaps it doesn't stack up there should be a follow up? No harm in checking and hopefully everything is above board and they're making progress. I could build a ground for 14k, including water, a club house of sorts, some equipment etc etc
