It's a big call signing up to be the Zim coach. It's never had a happy ending for any one of them, and there have been plenty. You surely get your next gig based on your prior performance unless you can persuade your next employer that the previous f**k up wasn't your fault.
Dave Houghton has had the best bail out option because it was always understood he was temporary and he had other options within ZC.

Just getting to international head coach level is a resume tick i think.
I imagine the deal would be like Streaks, he can retain his IPL gig.
