My last comment over here was to condole the sad demise of Heath Streak. And haven't followed much of Zim cricket since then, with all the soul crushing losses along the way.

But could not resist myself from coming here and congratulating the team on defeating the newly minted world champions! :D

Raza also won his first match as Captain against India few years ago. Who would have thought that?

Why the f**k do we keep playing Chatara... If Uganda batters can smack him around, I don't think he's troubling anyone.

Without his 0* and partnership with Clive, Zimbabwe would have lost - a match-winning innings!

What a win Folks! Congratulations to all the Zimbabwean fans!

I was at an engagement function of my relative, I was following the score on cricinfo, my wife wanted me to click a few pictures of her and about that time it got too tense for me to avoid watching, so I was with mobile in one hand streaming the match and another mobile in the other hand clicking her pic. My wife was so p**sed off and she was like "To hell with you and your cricket, you've been watching this before we left home, you are watching Wimbledon everyday, can't you bloody keep it out at least now?" I tried to tell her that it's very tense plz understand, but she had literally given up by the time 😂😂😂

Incredible win guys, very very happy for the boys! Sensational stuff... As I said high visibility series, you are making headline right now!

Why so little reaction on here? This is an amazing result.

I find it funny that we get more posts when we lose than when we win. There’s a lot of trolls on here who only appear when we lose. You know who you are.

I can certainly name several posters who have been absent this evening, who pop up every time we loses

Definitely did not expect this result at the halfway mark. Hopefully the players are starting to show that mental fortitude we've been lacking. I know a time where 115 would have had us giving up before bowling a ball. We really need to not let the new crop fall foul to the old guys habits.

Indians fans already going, "eh, it's our 2nd string side, no biggie". They are not wrong, but also you can only beat what is in front of you, so suck s**t India.

This is so bloody true. This was a huge upset making international headlines, and some of the usuals are dead silent on here. Laughable :D
@Googly anymore Madande comments- or was this just another fluke innings?

Over the last maybe 4 years, we've started to look really good defending small totals

Chatara's bowling made such a difference. Just goes to show there can be no substitute for experience.

He played well. I’ve never said he has had a fluke innings. Run a ball innings is surely pretty standard stuff?

Did you watch the game?

He kept very well.

My “Madande comments”, which are not horrible, by the way, will not cease until he gets a few innings under his belt against good opposition at 140%.

I just don’t think he’s that convincing.

But he did well to get what turned out to be important runs on the board.

The batting in general was dire, not a lot changes for us.

You don’t need a passport to play for Zim, u need a citizenship, which Knackers obviously has.

Otherwise if a player misplaced his passport he’d have to sit out. 😂 😂

Pretty sure he will play today.

I was there. Poor batting performance but somehow we are better in low total matches. The nerves we real when Chatara was bowling at the end but he delivered. Took a lot of mental strength on his part to do that. Credit where it’s due. Dion looked good until the runout. Madande delivered too. It’s a real positive to have won without Ervine and Williams because at the halfway stage their absence was really felt. I’m expecting India to bounce back strong today though
