A South African emerging side is touring Zimbabwe in August. 2 four day matches and some white ball games.
Who are they going to play against? Zero strategic planning by ZC as per normal.
Games are going to be in Bulawayo.

Why I prefer Mangongo personally over Elton is that he will cast his net a lot wider and not have 11 system picks every single time. His management skills might not be the best for senior pros but at this level and you are 31-5 when you won the toss, some tough love is needed.
Another way of looking at it is that you need some serious mental strength to make it at the highest level of sport. If things like a tough talking coach get you down you won’t make it when the pressure hits. Could be why we see our guys crack when the pressure is really on. If they can’t handle Mangongo how do you expect them to handle those finals they have lost?
It’s easy to say oh well what did Mangongo achieve in his cricket career but you can also ask yourselves why did some of them not like Ntini? Or why we all know if Andy Flower was given 12 months with these guys some of them would start saying he is too tough.
Ya, we need tough love. We’re not as dedicated or professional as other sides, some players just can’t be trusted with a relaxed approach and need a rocket up their backside.
Like Houghton’s relaxed approach; saying we play an aggressive brand of cricket and nobody will be in trouble in the changing room for getting out playing a rash shot. Some guys would learn and do something different the next game, our guys will play the same shot time and time again.

When you have a player like lavert musanda with a first class average of 20 one wonders why people have switched off a little.
