I win is more than enough. We still got 60 points to play for against the Netherlands and Afghanistan. We should target at least 40 points there. The Afghanistan series is extremely important. That's why they will never send a half baked team for that series. Those 30 points are crucial for both sides.
I predict we will end up on around 70 or 80 points. 100 points is the real target for all teams

10 points in Sri Lanka is what the target should be, getting more would be a bonus. Zim played Afghans in UAE and from last series its clear that they are weak side in green tops and tracks which swings & seams, so Zim here needs to work in their weak areas and reduce spin completely just like SA did to India in test series, to get full 30 in their pockets.Afghanistan will lack experience in that middle order after the retirement of Asgar Afghan, and they also does'nt have innings building batsman with them.Netherlands and Zim going to be a good fight as Netherlands have good pace attack, Zim will get edge over them in experience.

One of the big talking points from the last time Zim were in SL is how often they used the sweep shot to good success. Surely that will be in the plans again.

If a sweep is not one of your go to shots how do you spend a couple of weeks trying to become a sweeper? Never understood this. If you can cover the bounce you're OK, but on that length where you have to reach for it then you're asking for trouble unless you are adept. Its a real specialist shot that is hard to include in your repertoire unless you've spent a long time practicing it.
Flower used to have net sessions where he'd sweep absolutely everything regardless of line length or speed for an hour a day. The Zim way is to hit 3 good ones in a row and think you've got it covered 😂
