Jongwe with 31 off 12 at the end of the innings to shut people up. What a guy.

Some s**t bowling from chatara there though ..bowling length after length ..zimbabwe really needs to improve in death bowling ..probably this is where most of the times we lose grip of the game

Marumani and Shumba opening, should be interesting

Good to see Mumba finally getting a game. I guess opening isn’t Shumba’s cup of tea

One last chance for Maruma? No?

So Maruma has just survived a plumb lbw, then next over gets caught off a no ball.

Watch him hit a 50 then make the touring squad

Unfortunately in LOI cricket, umpires are objective and he won’t get all these passes that he gets in domestic cricket. He will put up a string of single digit scores…like he’s always done in international cricket

Maruma is cashing in on some poor bowling here. He’s getting way too much width from Masakadza

I would consider Maruma for 20 20 matches but no way is he good enough for one dayers.

If the Selectors can't see these scores as red herrings then there is no hope

To be honest Maruma is going to Sri Lanka after these last 2 games. Maybe they will try him up the order. It would also be risky to rely on two 21 year olds to be consistent and unfortunately the next best 3 right now are probably Marumani(20), Madande(21) and Maruma. Got a feeling we might take a 18 man squad so I expect to see those 3 plus Shumba, Chatara, Chivanga and Tiripano(as much as I prefer Mumba).

If its 16 then they will probably cut Madande and either Chivanga or Tiripano.

Wow, this bowling attack is not interested in playing

Maruma doing usual Maruma things. Smashing the warm-up games and getting selected ffs. I can't stand him.

I don't mind him being a back-up on tour but if he finds his way into the XI I'll flip.

Nice to see Marumani score a run though

If Maruma is this good, why did he not dominate the pro50, he’s not even among the top 20 batsmen in this years pro50. So does a good performance in these 3 glorified practice matches supersede domestic league performance??

He does it every time. Averages 25 in franchise List A. But in practice matches/selection matches he averages about 900. 😂

Yeah it’s great. There is definitely talent there he just needs to sort his head out.
